We've converted gouache into digital brushes, so you don't have to host tons of hues in your studio or relocate to Tibet to comprehend their zen vibe. Once again, we've teamed up with Kristina Vorotnikova to introduce a complete brush set that can meet the expectations of the savviest and choosiest digital artists. You've already seen her manga and anime brush series, but this time, she suggested bringing back her academic past and creating a collection to please her art school teachers. That was tough but not impossible.

Meet the Gouache Zen, a series of 12 gouache brushes. They literally started with gouache strokes on paper since Kristina wanted ultimate realism or nothing. We've also reviewed thousands of gouache illustrations made by René Magritte, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, and modern creators to ensure our collection is a workhorse, not a one-off thing. There are various textures, from watery strokes to scratchy and dry.
