About the product
Pencil and watercolor aren't the only the staple tool of an artist. For some it's a fine liner, and inky hero of the day. Whether it's a Uni PIN, Pigma Micron, or Winsor & Newton, fine liners have been at hand since forever, accompanying an artist on journeys and at desks, tracing countless doodles and sketches, both for work and for fun.
'Is it so in digital?' we asked ourselves and suggested our fellow artist Kristina Vorotnikova create a collection of fine-liners that would become the most universal and advanced selection for everyone who ever made patterns, shapes, and doodles with those. Together, we've transferred their smooth structure from paper to the screen and created dozens of variations to cover an artist with all possible brushes. Unlike traditional fine liners, all of these are smudge-resistant, non-toxic, odor-free, and lightfast.
We started with a core set of 8 ink brushes, each with different textures, including some with a half-dried look for rough lines. Then we literally drowned in playing with them — which resulted in 18 pattern line brushes, 8 stipple brushes, and 18 pattern line brushes. Yes, a single fine liner can create a masterpiece, but why limit yourself when you can have an entire toolbox?
